Privacy
To print and post your cards we need some of your data. Below is exactly what we use, where it goes and how long we keep it. Not a generic notice: this is what actually happens in this service.
What we process
- Your recipients’ addresses: name, street, house number, postcode, town and country.
- Your email address, for the confirmation.
- The content of the card: the text you enter, or the file you upload.
- We do not process the payment itself — that runs through Stripe.
Who receives the data
- Our printing and logistics partner in the Netherlands prints the cards and hands them to PostNL. They receive one address and the design per card, and use those only to produce and send that one card.
- Google processes your address list with a language model to turn it into separate address fields. This happens only at the moment you click “read addresses”.
- Stripe handles the payment and receives your email address and the amount.
- Vercel hosts the website and stores the design and order details until the cards have been sent.
We do not sell anything on, and we do not use your address list for anything other than this order.
How long
We keep order details while the order runs and afterwards for our administration, as Dutch tax law requires. If you want your address list erased sooner, email support@briefverzenden.nl.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. One email is enough.
